Microsoft Work-at-Home (WAH) licensed software is
available through e-academy.com
Missouri State University is licensed to use specific
Microsoft products on campus through the Microsoft
Campus Agreement. As an added benefit to having the
Microsoft Campus Agreement, all full-time and part-time
faculty and staff as well as Graduate Assistants are
allowed to obtain a single copy of these products for
their home computer in order to do university work at
home.
In the past these university employees have received
copies of this software by bringing blank CD’s to
Computer Services to be duplicated, however; in 2003
Microsoft began implementing a system of individually
keyed software copies in an effort to help curb software
piracy. Since each CD now has its own individual CD key
and must be registered individually, these CD’s are no
longer able to be duplicated by the university.
The university has partnered with e-academy.com allowing
its eligible employees the Work-at-Home benefit of the
Microsoft Campus Agreement. By going to
e-academy
the eligible employee will be guided through an online
purchasing process to obtain the desired software
covered under our agreement. Our Campus Agreement
already covers the cost of the software license; the
amount of your purchase covers the cost of the CD(s),
administration, shipping & handling.
If you have any questions about the Microsoft Campus
Agreement or the Work-at-Home rights, please contact the
Computer Services Help Desk at
417-836-5891.
The majority of enterprise information continues to reside on centralized legacy hosts (Mainframe and AS/400). With the Hummingbird HostExplorer Family, you can connect your enterprise desktops to the business-critical information and applications you need - across all platforms, with no barriers. At Missouri State you may know this as Phoenix and it connects to the I-Series.

Viruses and spyware grow more sophisticated every day. Symantec Endpoint Protection can help protect your computer by scanning for and removing these risks. In addition to antivirus & antispyware features, Endpoint offers Network Threat Protection, Application Control, and proactive intrusion prevention. Our licensing agreement with Symantec allows us to distribute copies to members of the University Community (students, faculty, & staff).
WebDrive is more than just an FTP Client. By connecting to WebDAV, FTP, or SFTP servers through a virtual drive, files are transferred by simply saving them to a drive letter. There's no need to run a separate FTP client interface. Unlike typical FTP clients, WebDrive lets you open and edit server-based files without the additional download step.
