Missouri State University works with vendors to provide discounts on Dell and iMAC computers. These discounts apply to any student, faculty or staff member purchasing a computer for personal use.
Dell Computers
Missouri State has partnered with Dell to provide computers at a discount price: Students, faculty and staff can purchase Dell computers any day of the year and receive a discount. See the Dell Student/Employee Site for current pricing (please be sure to read the "Helpful Hints" section below). This discount is promoted during Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR). Use one of these methods to select and purchase your computer:

Please note that computers listed in the "Recommended
Bundles" do not come with the Microsoft Office
Productivity suite. It is offered as an option on
computers in the "Full Catalog". A
license/disk combo for this suite is available at
the Missouri State Bookstore at a discounted price that
is much less than the computer configuration option. The

Helpful Hints for Online Shopping
- The total discount is not displayed until your purchase is added to the cart.
- Pay careful attention to the default warranty. 3-yr. Next Business Day is usually sufficient for most people. The default usually adds training and sometimes an extra year. If you don't want this, there is no need to pay for it.
- Be patient. Dell runs many weekly specials such as free shipping or double memory. Sometimes they run a free monitor upgrade. Waiting an extra week can be profitable for you.
- Microsoft Office is not a default option for our Dell or iMAC computers. A license/disk combo is available at the Missouri State Bookstore at a heavily-discounted price:
