Adobe Acrobat forms are now
replacing the previously used Nuance OmniForm forms.
Adobe Acrobat allows the user to
create editable forms. Beginning with version 7, Adobe
Reader allowed the user to make comments on PDF
documents and forms but did not allow the user to save
the form after editing it. Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional
now allows the user to create forms that Adobe Reader 8
users can edit and save for future use.
Adobe Reader, versions 7 and 8, must
have the Usage Rights enabled in order to save edited
forms. To enable these rights, open the form and click
on the Advanced Tab and then select “Enable Usage Rights
in Adobe Reader”. You will be prompted to save the
document with a new filename. If you wish to retain the
same filename, save the form in a different folder.
IMPORTANT: If you edit the form using Adobe Acrobat 8
Professional at a future date, the Usage Rights will
need to be re-enabled.

Note: Adobe Reader version 7 or later is required to take advantage of this feature. If you are using an earlier version, please upgrade to a newer version or call the Helpdesk at 417-836-5891 for assistance
NCR paper used for multiple copies
in different colors can be used by placing the paper in
the Manual Feed Tray and then printing the form the
appropriate number of times. Most manual feed trays
require that the paper be placed face up with the top of
the form pointed towards the printer.
